We rebuilt our aloe vera beds.

We pruned the mesquites and gave them a little water.

Our city neighbors gave us a bunch of dead ocotillo canes (Fouquieria splendens); we planted them to see if they were of the subspecies "lazarus".

Actually, they can look a lot like this when they're alive, too, unless it's rained recently.
