Rabbits gnawed holes in some of the prickly pear we planted last year.

Is this... rabbit art? Like the elephant in Thailand that paints pictures that sell for $4K?

How do rabbits eat these without poking their eyes out?

And how do the prickly pear survive this kind of attention? Obviously, they do -- this specimen is thriving.

Here's one of the culprits now, in flagrante delicto.

We don't mind sharing our land with the wildlife.

Dove nest on top of Bessie, up under the roof of our porch.
